Doug Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund Douglas Gene Robinson 1962- 2009 Golden Spike Amateur Hockey Association presents the Doug Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund was made available through the extreme kindness of Valerie, Kaden and Cameron Robinson and the tremendous generosity of many people that desired to pay their respects for Doug in the form of a scholarship for youth hockey players. Doug had a passion for youth hockey and loved watching his sons play this great game. Each year Golden Spike will present three anonymous scholarships to deserving applicants. Each scholarship will be valued at $250.00 and must be used to pay for yearly registration and dues. To apply for a scholarship please go to www.goldenspikehockey.com click on Doug Robinson Memorial Scholarship, fill out the application and e-mail it back to The President of Golden Spike Hockey, Frank Fox, at ffox2@msn.com. Applications must be received no later than Sept. 30, 2010. Golden Spike Board of Directors will review applicants and determine scholarship recipients. Applications will be held in strict confidence and only viewed by Golden Spike Board of Directors. Recipients will be notified on Oct 6, 2010.
